On average, vehicles are estimated to need an oil change every 15,000 km or every 12 months. This can vary based on your driving habits, your driving frequency, the age of your vehicle, and the quality of the oil you use. If you drive a newer vehicle, you might be able to safely wait a little longer between changes

  1. Remove the cap from the air valve on the tire, and put it somewhere you won’t lose it.
  2. Press the tire gauge against the open valve stem for a second or two. It’s normal to hear a hiss of air.
  3. Read the air pressure gauge. For manual gauges, a dial points to the pressure or a bar indicates the pressure by how far it was pushed out. The pressure will appear onscreen on a digital tire gauge.
  4. Compare this number with the recommended tire pressure.
  5. Replace the tire’s air valve cap. (Hold off on this step if you need to adjust the air pressure.)
  6. Repeat this process for each tire.

By rotating your tyres, you give the tyres a chance to even out their wear and get extended life or mileage out of your tyres. To get the best usage of your tyres it is recommended that rotation be done every 8000 – 10 000km or once every 6 months .

Auto detailing is an activity that keeps the vehicle in its best possible condition, especially cosmetic, as opposed to mechanical. This is achieved by removing both visible and invisible contaminants from the vehicle’s interior, and polishing the exterior to its original blemish-free finish. The most basic detail options include an exterior wash and wax, interior vacuuming, window cleaning and surface polishing.

Regardless of the specific cause, it is urgent to stop an oil leak, so take your vehicle to the nearest workshop immediately. Following the oil leak, you may encounter the smell of burnt oil, followed by blue smoke and ultimately some major damage to your engine.

Brake pulsation usually only has one cause, which is warped rotors/brake discs. The main cause of warped rotors is excessive hard braking or fast stops which can severely overheat the discs.

Car insurance safeguards against any damage that your vehicle may sustain. The right policy ensures that your vehicle is safe from natural disasters, the threat of theft, fire, and damage as a result of accidents.
